PRIVACY POLICY

1. INTRODUCTION

Storm OS ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Martin, based in Egypt. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Storm OS platform at any of our domains or deployments.

By using Storm OS, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. We take your privacy seriously and will never sell your personal data to third parties.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

  • Account Data: Your name and email address when you register.
  • Payment Data: Billing information processed by Paddle (our payment provider). We do not store card numbers — Paddle handles all payment data under their own PCI-compliant systems.
  • Usage Data: Your subscription status and payment confirmation stored in our Supabase database.
  • Cloud Sync Data: Dashboard activity (tasks, habits, sessions, journal entries, analytics) synced to Supabase cloud storage, encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • Technical Data: Basic server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and debugging purposes.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

  • To authenticate your account and verify your subscription status.
  • To process your payment and grant dashboard access upon confirmation.
  • To sync your productivity data across browsers and devices via Supabase.
  • To send transactional emails (payment receipts, account confirmation) via Supabase Auth.
  • To maintain the security of our platform and prevent fraud.
  • We do NOT use your data for advertising, profiling, or sell it to any third parties.

4. DATA STORAGE & SECURITY

Your account data (name, email, subscription status) and productivity data (tasks, habits, sessions, journal entries, goals, analytics) are stored in Supabase, a SOC 2 compliant cloud database. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest. Payment processing is handled exclusively by Paddle, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified provider.

Data is also cached in your browser's localStorage for offline access. Clearing your browser storage will not permanently delete your data if cloud sync is enabled.

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

  • Supabase: Authentication, user profiles, and cloud data sync. Privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy.

  • Google Fonts: Typography delivery. Privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

6. YOUR RIGHTS

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Withdraw consent at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account.

7. COOKIES

Storm OS does not use tracking cookies. We use browser localStorage for data caching and Supabase Auth session tokens for authentication purposes only. No advertising or analytics cookies are used.

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Storm OS is not directed at anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of Storm OS after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

⚠ BY CREATING AN ACCOUNT OR ACCESSING THE STORM OS DASHBOARD, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS IN FULL. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE SERVICE.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Storm OS, operated by Martin ("Operator", "we", "us") from Egypt. By registering an account, completing a payment, or accessing the dashboard, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. THE SERVICE

Storm OS is a web-based productivity platform providing nine integrated dashboard tabs: Deep Work Planner, Focus Pulse Timer, Habit Matrix, Weekly Ops Dashboard, Analytics, Field Notes Journal, Dev Tools Suite, Reports, and Help. Access to the dashboard requires a paid subscription.

  • Access is granted upon successful payment processing via Paddle.
  • The platform is provided "as is" and "as available".
  • We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
  • We do not guarantee 100% uptime and are not liable for downtime outside our control.

3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • One account per user. Sharing accounts is not permitted.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to register.

4. SUBSCRIPTION & PAYMENT

  • The Operator plan costs $9.99/month, billed monthly through Paddle.
  • Payment is required before accessing the dashboard. No free trial is offered.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through Paddle's customer portal.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • All prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes where required.

5. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or other users' accounts.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the platform.
  • Resell or sublicense access to the platform.
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
  • Use the code playground to execute malicious, illegal, or harmful code targeting external systems.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content, design, code, branding, and materials comprising Storm OS are the intellectual property of the Operator and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Storm OS without explicit written permission.

Your personal data (tasks, journal entries, habits, notes) stored in cloud sync and localStorage remains your own property.

7. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

STORM OS IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STORM OS AND ITS OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE 30 DAYS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. TERMINATION

  • You may cancel your subscription and close your account at any time.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
  • Upon termination, your access to the dashboard will cease immediately.

10. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Egypt. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Egypt.

11. CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of Storm OS after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

REFUND POLICY
LAST UPDATED: MARCH 2026 // STORM OS // EGYPT

🔴 IMPORTANT: STORM OS OPERATES A STRICT NO-REFUND POLICY. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. BY COMPLETING YOUR PURCHASE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND ACCEPT THIS POLICY IN FULL.

1. NO REFUND POLICY

Due to the digital and immediate-access nature of the Storm OS platform, all purchases are final and non-refundable. Once payment is processed and dashboard access is granted, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

This policy applies to:

  • Monthly subscription charges of $9.99/month.
  • All past and future billing cycles.
  • Situations where you did not use the service after payment.
  • Situations where you forgot to cancel before the renewal date.
  • Situations where you were dissatisfied with the service after access was granted.
  • Partial month refunds when cancelling mid-cycle.

2. CANCELLATION

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Paddle customer portal. Your subscription and access will remain active until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused days in the billing cycle.

To cancel: log into your Paddle account, navigate to "Subscriptions", and select "Cancel". If you need assistance finding your Paddle portal, email us at martinsamer91@gmail.com.

3. EXCEPTIONS

✓ The only exception to this policy is in the case of a verifiable duplicate charge or billing error caused by a technical fault on our side or by Paddle's payment system. In such cases, contact us within 7 days of the charge with evidence.

We do not accept claims of "I didn't know", "I forgot to cancel", "I didn't use it", or "it didn't work as expected" as grounds for a refund. We encourage all prospective users to review the full service description on our landing page before purchasing.

4. CHARGEBACKS

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer without first contacting us is a violation of these Terms. If you initiate a chargeback, we reserve the right to immediately terminate your account and contest the dispute with evidence of service delivery.

5. TECHNICAL ISSUES

If you experience a genuine technical issue preventing you from accessing the dashboard after payment, contact us at martinsamer91@gmail.com within 48 hours. We will work to resolve the issue promptly.

6. HOW TO REQUEST SUPPORT

  • Include your account email and a description of the issue.
  • For billing errors only: include your Paddle transaction ID and the date of charge.
  • Response time: 1–3 business days.

7. GOVERNING LAW

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of Egypt. By purchasing a Storm OS subscription, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted this policy in its entirety.
